Mr. Madan Mohanka

Mr. Madan Mohanka, Chairman of MM Group of Industries, is a pioneer in introducing advanced technologies in mining, cooling, and wastewater treatment industries in India. A Civil Engineer from BIT Ranchi and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, he also chairs MM Aqua Technologies, Maple Orgtech, and Hosch Equipment. Recognized with multiple awards, including Distinguished Alumnus from BIT and IIM-A, Mr. Mohanka is deeply involved in social service, supporting education for the underprivileged through Disha Foundation and promoting traditional arts through the Ranan group.

Mr. Madan Mohanka, Chairman of MM Group of Industries, is the pioneer in bringing several new technologies, viz. Wear resistant Lining systems used in the Mining, Material handling, and Mineral processing industries; Cross fluted fill media for Cooling towers and Wastewater treatment plants and Belt cleaning and Tracking system to our country.

Mr. Mohanka is a Civil Engineer from Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi and a ’67 batch MBA from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. He is also the Chairman of the other companies in the group, viz. MM Aqua Technologies Limited, Maple Orgtech (India) Limited and Hosch Equipment (India) Limited.

Mr. Mohanka is the recipient of several awards including Distinguished alumnus from BIT and IIM-A, ET Bengal Best Corporate Award, EY Entrepreneur of the Year [Finalist] and Times Philanthropy Honour for CSR activities from TOI.

He is involved in various social service activities for the education and development of the underprivileged. He is Patron and Chairman of an Art group called Ranan, consisting of young artists and guides and helps them in promoting traditional Kathak, choreography and dance-theatre. Mr Mohanka is also the Chairman of Disha Foundation, a trust working mainly on implementing new Pedagogy in schools to improve the quality of education.
