Chandrajit Banerjee (CB) is the Director General of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), India’s apex Industry organisation. CB has been with CII for over 35 years and has been serving as its Director General since 2008, overseeing its overall operations. Additionally, he holds trusteeship and Board Member positions in various leading Indian and global institutions. CB is also the Secretary for several bilateral CEO forums constituted by the Government of India. CB is a member of Government advisory bodies at the National and State levels.
He has won several international accolades, including from China, Spain and Italy.
